I am big fan of Akihiko Yoshida who designed 2b and other concept art ( allmost all ) in Nier series.

I recently picked up "The art of death stranding" its gorgeous. Yoji shinkawa style is just so unique. I love it.

I started to get into the NieR series in 2020 and the first game I played was Automata. I did not regret it at all and seeing how it has different endings, it became my most favorite game of all time. Then when nier replicant remake was announced, it took me another year to buy the full game and I loved it. It's like I was playing nieR in reverse but it also made me want to go into the lore a lot deeper

This is a really great video. Lots of good advise I read a book called Flow by Mihaly Csikszebtmihalyi which is about getting into that super focused state and you pretty much outline the first few. He breaks it down into different steps to achieve optimal flow.

Love the art and love the tutorial. Easy to follow without hundreds of steps and layers going on in a program meant for only one OS. I guess if I were to ask for a topic it'd be less of a new topic and more of an expansion of what I have already seen. As someone who aspires to someday become a concept artist i'd love to see it expanded to show drawing different genders and body types. So something like having the curvy female and burly guy, or young female and older guy, so on and so forth. I'd also love to see some sort of environmental tutorial or background tutorial.

Well said. Every person knows better itself. For me it is the athletic, fast walking (with or without music). Not much, 2-3 times a week about 1,5-2 hours each time. Some times if I am struggling having inspiration or having bad thoughts about anything, a nice walking, even for one hour is so helpful. It clears the mind and refreshes inspiration ideas. Also, having a balanced diet (as much as it can be) is a nice thing. I hope everything better for your health Nik! Take care.
